I’m a pretty big Tarantino guy and this movie checks all the QT boxes. Not his best ever or anything, but just as good as Bastards and Hateful 8.

Eight was pretty good. Basterds was as bad as jackie brown and jackie brown was frickin' awful.

Terrible as they may be, they're only opinions on things that don't matter. You don't have to call on christ over it. It's not all that important.

Was disappointed when I saw it at the theater. Kept thinking about it afterwards. Saw it again a week later and absolutely loved it. Had a similar experience with Basterds, which is now my favorite movie.

I liked it because the acting was incredible and the setting of 1960s hollywood was fantastic. When Brad Pitt goes to the ranch, that's probably my favorite scene. The ending just didn't fit the story at all and there wasn't much of a coherent story to begin with.

Watched this over the weekend. Probably one of my favorite movies of the last three or four years. Easily DiCaprio‘s best performance possibly ever. His chemistry with Brad Pitt was so effortless. The scene at the Manson compound bordered on horror movie type stuff it was edge of your seat thrilling.

Loved the movie

I think I am going to have to go watch this again. Everybody that I have told that I though the movie was boring called me a fricking idiot. Hopefully, it is something I just missed the first time around

I told you man.

If this board had a Jim jones, it would be Quentin Tarantino.

You didn't miss anything.

Tarantino movies are like chuck palahniuk books. Unusual subject matter and storytelling that's seriously hit and miss.

I haven't seen Hollywood yet so I dunno if it's good or not. But your reaction to Hollywood is just like mine to basterds. I thought basterds was a pile 'a shite. Dogs was a work of art. Pulp was fun to watch but by no means fantastic and to me, both Bills should hang in the Louvre.

So there ya go.

Also, this board strokes its clit over Quentin Tarantino.

Honestly I felt disappointed when I watched it in theaters. I don't know if it was the hype letdown or what, but all I remember is thinking to myself there was a whole lot of driving in this movie lol. Then I re watched it when it was released on digital and loved it on the second viewing. I guess because I knew what it was. It was a nostalgic look into old Hollywood from Tarantino's POV and then of course with his own twist

You’re really trying hard to be like el Gaucho and shite on everything. At least he was trolling. But you’re in the serious running to be worse than OweO, probably already are.

I love when people on here take a highly acclaimed across the world movie, director, actor, etc. and act like it’s just people on this board that praise them for some odd reason

He's worth praising. Sometimes he does a good job but also, sometimes he doesn't. He's made some shitty movies.

The ending was actually my least favorite part. I enjoyed the rest.

I felt the same way. Really enjoyed everything that happened before, including the build up to the finale. The payoff just fell a little flat.
