On this day of celebrating St. Patrick, what are the best "Irish" films

I know Quiet Man was already mentioned, and yes, it's great, but I can really only think of Barry Lyndon as comparable, but it really takes place in France, Prussia, and & England, not Ireland.
Maybe The Boxer, or even Patriot Games

In recent decades I would think about In Bruges, The Boxer, Trainspotting, In the Name of the Father, and The Commitments.
My favorite of those would be In Bruges and Trainspotting.

I'm just throwing Boondock Saints in here because I love it so much. It's not necessarily an Irish film obviously.

Have a downvote:

I watched The Foreiner the other day and it’s pretty good. The guy that Pierce Brosnan’s character is based off is a real piece of work.

Has there been an actual Irish film mentioned? They all seem at least collaboratives if anything.

I suppose I deserve that for considering Trainspotting Irish enough. A Scotsman would punch me in the face for that.

In Bruges is a stretch to call an "Irish film", regardless of the cast, and Trainspotting takes place in Scotland.

Does The Departed count as Irish?

Sing Street is a good one. It is on Netflix.
Brooklyn is also good.

With Irish mobsters I really can't bring myself to call Bruges a Belgian film. Maybe if they made another film about the Van Gough assassination that would qualify. The director of Bruges is Irish by descent and citizenship. The lead is also Irish. The attitude that pervades the film seems Irish.
But I suppose other people may have a more informed opinion.
