Right. There has been discussion on here on this but I just don't see this as being consistent.

I'm excited to see how they are going to do this, cause I don't see where Rick's group stands a chance in a fight with the Saviors. The Saviors have all the advantages..

1. Manpower- Do you remember when we first met Negan. There were over 100 guys in the woods. Plus when Michonne kidnapped that women, she said there is more of them than we thought. Does Rick have 100 fighters yet? Maybe with the dumpster people, but can they fight? They don't have that many guns, so are they any good with them.

2. Firepower- The Saviors have a huge arsenal. I would bet they have tons more we haven't even seen yet. The one outpost was loaded and there are several others. Plus has Eugene started making ammo for the Saviors yet? That could tip this even further.

3. Battle experience/Killer instinct- The Saviors are battle hardened. We know they have beaten down multiple other communities and wiped out others (the beach women's men). They are also ruthless and won't hesitate to fight or kill. Rick's original group has that instinct, but none of the others have that we have seen.

4. Strategy- When Negan tricked Rick into coming to him in the woods, that was brilliant. It shows that they can plan, plot and predict their enemies moves and reactions. Negan would have already planned the assault and back-ups, in case things changed on the fly. We have never seen these other groups come up with anything close to that well thought out. Maybe the attack on the radio station, but that group was totally caught off guard (didn't know Rick's group existed).

5. Motivation- Revenge is a powerful motivator, but this kind of goes both ways. Rick's group lost a few people, but like Eugene said, they killed around 30 of the Saviors, maybe more. Both groups will be desperate to win. But the Saviors fear Negan more than the other groups admire Rick. I would think Negan will inspire his side more.

I'm trying to think of others, or maybe some aspects where Rick might have an advantage. Maybe when the dump people and the Kingdom join in, that will be a surprise. The Saviors might not be prepared for that. But if the "birdie" is telling Negan, than he'll be ready..

Speaking of weapons, what happened to the grenade launcher? Did they give it to Negan's peeps?

I use to come back the next day and watch the episode again to see if I misssed anything. Last Sunday's will be the first one in awhile I do that.

Yeah I honestly I can't see the writers resolving this whole conflict in one episode. I expect a cliffhanger.
