Jordan Peele's new movie opens tomorrow night and didn't see a thread on it. Currently at an 82% on RT which is low for Peele. I enjoyed "Get Out" but didn't care for "Us" at all. Sounds like he has cooled on the social messaging and just made a big summer blockbuster with this one from what I read. Excited to check it out tomorrow.

Looking forward to this one. He has a solid grasp on horror, he just struggles with the landing sometimes (Us, for example). But the premise is interesting enough and I dig horror flicks so I’ll check it out (though likely not in theaters).

Interested to see what the board thinks about it.

I liked Us until the ending that I thought was a mislanding. Enjoyed get out though and I am looking forward to this

The twist in "Us" was so horrible and obvious I was waiting for something else at the end. Really fell flat for me

I liked the premise, but the real test will be if it can finish with a solid pay off.

Excited for this especially since it has Steven Yuen nice to see how far he’s come since The Walking Dead. Really liked Get Out, but thought Us was just ok. Have no idea what the frick this movie is about which is a good thing because the trailers didn’t give much away

Just wait until all the aliens kill the black people and spare the white people.

Get Out was grossly overrated because it underscored anti-white beliefs. If critics gave this one an 82%, that means this is another Us (which got a 93% whatever that means). Maybe he should think about comedy.

Loved both Get Out and Us but I saw a leak of this one and man…it sounds like not my cup of tea at all. Hopefully he can make it look better than it sounds

Did you miss the first 10 minutes of the movie? The “twist” smacks you right in the face

The movie is mocking rich white liberals who pander to the black community.

The number of people acting like Us was amazing has always been a mystery to me. The entire theater was laughing at how stupid it was when we went and I ended up just chugging beer until it was over

I'm a little shocked it's not still 100%. It does look interesting to me and I'll see it in theaters as well since it looks to have a few big screen type scenes in it.
