Azula is a bit too much of a severely fricked up human being to really have a redemption arc. Maybe a healing arc, but Azula is also highly implied in the show to be a serial killer. Mike and Bryan initially planned for her to kill her subordinates on screen, but Nick completely forbade it. When they asked if they could imply it, they were given the green light. Save for Mai and Ty Lee, you never see anyone who fails her again on the screen. Plus Long Feng was way too dangerous for Azula’s liking to be kept alive.
