I don’t necessarily know that it was the cgi that was the worst part with that short of a clip, but I do know that it did not at all feel like the genie. Robin Williams’ voice is just too perfect for that role, hearing Will Smith try to pull it off felt exceedingly empty.

Will Smith. What an awful choice. If you need a black guy, go with Dave Chapelle. I mean shite, Kevin Hart and Keye or Peele would have been much better.

Jafar looks like a total wimp and the CGI on Will Smith's Genie is terrible. About the only saving grace from the trailer is the quick glimpse we got of Naomi Scott as Jasmine.

Im a big Will Smith fan, but im just not sure he is right for this role. I hope he proves me wrong.
