Never thought I’d say this about Seinfeld

But the comedy special he just dropped is legitimately unwatchable.

What is this you speak of? I tried to watch the Parks and Rec special concerning Wuhan Flu and it was absolutely unwatchable. I hope it's not worse than that.

It's hard to stay hungry when you're a billionaire.

I wasn’t a fan of his stand up. I like him and loved the show, it didn’t like his stand up

It would have to be REALLY, REALLY, REALLY bad to be worse than that thing was. Absolutely dreadful.

His comedy is best when it's like a 30 second intro to a show.
2 hours?
Then you're like George..."I bet you do a lot of that observational comedy huh?" Bet your big on that. "What's the deal with Ketchup? Is it Ketchup or Catsup?"

His standup is great. Haven’t seen the new one though but I’ve been to a few shows and I was lmao.

I've never liked his standup stuff. The TV show "Seinfeld" was decent with the cast he had around him, but even the opening shots of his standup routine sucked and I never found it funny.

what's the deal with this special?

His writers are busy working on Dave and other shows.

I think Eddie Murphy said you can’t be rich and funny. But I’d rather be rich

I went and saw him at the Sanger in New Orleans in the 90s and he was so funny I could barely breathe. This was like watching Jordan play for the wizards

I saw him five or so years ago and thought he was great but this is sad to hear.

I give Seinfeld a lot of slack because he was one of the guys who redefined comedy in the 80's and sitcoms in the 90's. And his Coffee/Cars show is one of the few streaming interview shows that has stood the test of time. I'd have killed to have seen him on stage before his sitcom started. I saw Leno back then when he was young and dangerous, he was amazing.
I cringe now and then while watching his coffee show. There's an occasional old man moment, but guys of our generation have those. It's not a deal breaker for me. The other 95% of what he says is still gold. And as a bonus, he occasionally pisses off the me-toos and the SJWs because he doesn't give a shite.
He's a billionaire who still wants to do stand-up. That's gonna show through. Unless he starts lecturing from the stage, I'm in.

If that overrated show of his is an indication that's not surprising.

And I tell you what, the silver age of late night talk was something to behold. There was nothing like opening TV guide and seeing that Letterman had an awesome comic scheduled for Late Night. Seinfeld, Leno, Richard Lewis, Paul Reiser, Steven Wright... they'd kill with their stand-up and then kill again in the interview segment.
