Looks like the art style that kids and man children like on Cartoon Network. This animation style looks like arse, just like the Thundercats reboot

Not that I really give a shite but why would they do the animation like that? The Heavy Metal style was a huge part of the appeal back in the day.

Lotta dudes getting mad an 80s cartoon isn't staying with 80s aesthetics.
While the animation isn't to my taste it's not aimed at me.
It could be worse. My niece likes Steven Universe so I'll watch with her. The only character on the show that's worthwhile is the kid 's dad. Who killed his kid's mom by getting her preggers. Apparently it's fatal for mineral space lesbians to be with child.
Which lead to this exchange the last time I watched with her.
The Dad seeing his dead wife's sisters or aunts or something come to destroy earth: "Guess it's time to turn on the ole Universe charm."
Rest of characters: "No!"
Me: coke shooting out nose as I guffaw.
Niece: "Uncle zapp, it wasn't that funny."
So I have a low bar for this to hurdle if she wants to watch this instead. It can't be worse.

Not the early 2010 one that wanted to so badly be the after the original series ended comics where mutants take Cheetara as war booty and mum-ra made wilykit and Kat into his personal whores.
The context was Wilykat was corrupted by mumm-ra which led to him betraying the Thundercats from the inside. Lion-o got stuck in the book for a decade instead of a year training to be a better king. The plundarians enslaved all the Thundarian refugees in the meantime.
