Netflix drop “How It Ends.”

Thanks for the input.
It has gotten a pretty hard push from Netflix and it was released today.
It’s pretty good so far.
Anything else you want to add that might be remotely useful?

Watched it last night when it first dropped. Was looking forward to it.
It was an OK movie with a very meh ending. Very unfulfilling ending and beat you over the head with the “breakdown of society everyone will be out to get you” angle.

If you post something about a movie with no information about it, and someone says that they haven't heard of it, then how about provide an explanation about what it is about rather than being a smartass about it.
I happened to see it in the Netflix menu earlier today but did not look at it. I saw this thread and opened it hoping to gain some insight about whether I should give it a shot, and you literally posted nothing about it other than one actor's name.

Yeah I thought this was about a show being cancelled too. Apparently it’s a new Netflix movie and I read somewhere that Forrest Whitaker is in it but I didn’t see much else about it.

They don’t say what exactly is causing these events.
In a movie with so much build up and leaving you hanging at the end like that, the title “How It Ends” feels very pretentious and shitty. The movie has some good and some bad but it’s ironic that the worst part of the movie happens to be the title. Maybe they meant for it to be like that.

Basically the movie had no ending. Really had no middle either. Beginning was great, the rest was pointless. Bad, lazy writing.
