I recommend watching this series. I stumbled upon it this week and watched the eight episodes in two sittings. It is a Polish program, and to relay some of the few reviews I've seen, a dystopian view of what Poland is if in the 1980's, the country would not have become free. In fact it takes place in a police state. The program switches between happenings in 1983 and 2003. With the bulk of the story taking place in 2003 it is a story of certain young adults in the country fighting a guerrilla battle for freedom. And no, all questions are not answered at the end of season 1. We also unfortunately lose some of the important protagonists in season 1. It is especially compelling when considering the history of Poland in the late 20th/early 21st century and how that may affected the writers perspective in this show. It is fast paced and a thriller.
If you watch it with English dialog and English subtitles don't read the subtitles as they don't always follow the dialog precisely. If you do you will spend time trying to resolve the differences.
