There is this belief that the Brits produce much better TV shows than we do. And, to be honest, they do produce some great shows. I mean incredibly watchable shows.

They also produce some, to use a British phrase, "real arse biscuits".

You just have to take individual series as you find them.

Amazon has a much larger selection of shitty everything.

They have a ton of content, and a lot of it is good, but a lot of it is garbage.

I searched for ninja movies for my kid to watch, some of the results were home movies some guy made of his little kids playing ninja. They just pad the hell out of their library.

I need to drink quite a bit before I watch those, but under the right mental state they could be wonderful. Even if they cause my liver to fail.

We enjoy watching the BBC shows too, but they make so few episodes and take forever to come out with new seasons. They're taking 3 years to come out with 4 new episodes sometimes... They better be good.

AbFab is regarded, rightly in my opinion, as one of the funniest shows ever. They did what... 39 episodes in 20 some odd years?

Yes, what they did was great. But good Lord they spread that out over such a long time.

Easily one of my favorite shows. I’m roughly the same age as the characters. I remember torrenting it every week to see new episodes.

Prime is loaded with old Pirate B-movies that I'm sure are free in the public domain.

That's because she did that show when she had an actual good idea for a script, not just to do it. I believe the first 3 seasons were done over a period of about 4 years and she intended to end it there. But obviously, she had new fresh ideas in the future and everyone was still willing to do it.
