Saw this on comic vine, wanted to discuss here:

No magical equipment.

Only melee weapons and innate abilities.

No panther.

Open empty large ballroom

I think it's a very close battle.

I don't know who Drizzt and Artemis are but Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow are cool as hell so I'll say them.

Drizzt

Is the ultimate Mary Sue. He was an interesting character in the fist couple of novels, but as his popularity increased, RA made him more and more of an unbelievable, unrelatable character.

His stories turned in to YA level of cotton candy fiction.

I feel like this thread is a test to determine nerds from awesomes, and this is the correct answer.

I had friends that were heavily into the Dragonlance stuff, so I know Drizzt by name only. (And every other fricking NE male in WoW, it seemed).

I'm going with Arashikage, Thomas S. and his brother.

They would stomp most anyone in a hand to hand combat battle, however....

Snake eyes and Storm Shadow have the advantage.

They fight constantly with non magic equipment, hand to hand, darkness isn't a big deal to them.

Storm Shadow punched a tank apart once with no effort.

Snake eyes bangs Scarlet on the reg without bemoaning his face.

Drizzt is only as good as his magic equipment vs the present scenario.

Storm Shadow will find a way to Eiffel tower cattie brie in front of him, driving him into a weeping mess.

He has the darkness spell still which will let him get clobbered without seeing it coming because Twinkling won't be able to defend like it usually does.

Artemis depends too much on that knife to heal. He gets aced by anyone with training or tricks.

tl;dr

Drizzt and Artemis attempt the fricking corkscrew nonsense, snake eyes and storm shadow shrug, trip them and stab them to death.

An elf will almost always have an advantage over humans in melee.

Is the Dark Elf trilogy still considered good? Those books were amazing to my 12 year old brain. I have tried many times to read the Icewind Dale trilogy and I just can't make it through.

They were ok. The sidecast was better and Salvatore went into cringing DM territory as he went see how evil they are!? They have demon orgies to graduate!

When Drow were established as awful from first pages with a house being purged.

It's like dude we get it, put the suddenly hulking canine demons back, please.

I had the same experience.

I think the Dark Elf trilogy would be the same.

I used to think liking Star Wars and Batman made me nerdy, until I started frequenting this board and you guys started making threads like this and the dragon ball stuff where I have no freaking clue what you're talking about.

First book of that trilogy it's where Drizzt decides to run away because his sister tries to sex him up as the orgy goes on and he realizes she isn't like him or their father.
