Looking for thriller or drama. I’ve seen a ton of movies and don’t feel like listing them.

The firm or boogie nights?

Boogie Nights is better than the Firm.

Don't know why, but lazy Saturday afternoons always made better by an old western like Rio Bravo or something like Cool Hand Luke.

I know why. Because you're old and you remember back in the day when the siding companies used to sponsor those movies on the weekends with limited commercial interruption.

Watching Shattered starring Gerard Butler, Pierce Brosnan and Maria Bello.

Pretty good psycho/thriller - reminded me a lot of Nick of Time.

Boogie Nights. Best movie about the 70s not made in the 70s (along with Dazed and Confused and Almost Famous)

Watch the movie Polar on Netflix. Mads Mikkelson flick.

I don’t think it was rated all that well but dammit I had a good time watching it. He’s an ex assassin being hunted by his former employer

Fanny and Alexander, Bergman's masterpiece, just finished it on Criterion Channel, but it's available for rent on most all streaming services. Have always heard of the film but thought it was about two kids running around inside a house, but it's much deeper with lots of good adult stuff, acting all around world class, hence why it won the Oscar for best foreign film. Sub titles in this movie are very smooth and easy to follow. Will watch later tonight Antonioni's masterpiece, La Notte, also on Criterion.

Have seen Boogie Nights several times and it never gets old, and that is John Paul Anderson's masterpiece. We should all strive to watch masterpieces!

I rented The Outpost on Amazon last night and it was a damn good military movie IMO, I hadn’t heard of it until I saw it mentioned on this board.

You may have seen it already, maybe not, but "Primal Fear" is a very good movie with a nice plot twist.

Also liked "State Of Grace" with Sean Penn, Robin Wright Penn, Ed Harris, John Tortouro, and the ever crazy Gary Oldman.

OP needs to stop what he's doing and watch this one ASAP. That or Boogie Nights.
