After watching theses two back to back and being old enough to remember, the whole Iran Contra Shite Show, the conclusions drawn in The Last Narc seem 100% credible to me.

I don't know if he had put it all together before he was kidnapped, but clearly at some point while he was being tortured I'm sure it became clear to him and he knew he was gonna die no matter what.

I think he was close to putting it all together and a lot of People including our Government couldn't allow this info to become public.

I just finished the Last Narc last night. Amazing documentary. Very well done and seems very credible.

Haven't seen Narcos: Mexico but it covers the same things?

Yes, and it’s one of the best series on Netflix.

More in detail with the stuff Kiki was doing. The Last Narc really tied it all together for me. Kiki was a hard charger, dude would have blown the whole thing up. I remember one of the Senator during the Iran Contra hearings saying that something didn't fit and that it seemed something was missing this makes all the sense in the world. So Much sense that in typical fashion people won't believe it. But they'll believe the Israeli's shot a super weapon that started California wild fires! Go figure! You can always hide the truth in the open, because people won't believe it!

Thanks for the recommendation! I knew several DEA agents when I was an Embassy Guard in Bangkok Thailand. Really solid individuals the lot of them. THE Agent in charge of the office pretty much had me convinced of not reenlisting with the corps and becoming an agent, but MY CO was a better salesman in the end and the rest is history LOL! The stories those guys had were incredible. I don't think there is a more determined or ruthless dirt bag than a big time drug trafficker! Sadly these guys are fighting a war that nobody really wants to win!

Finished up the last narc last night. I'm amazed that no one has paid the price for KIKI's death. Felix Rodriguez, at the very least, should be indicted.

Zero, Zero, Zero on Amazon is a pretty good show about the Italian Mafia and Mexico Narcos. The Mexican story is much better than the Mafia part but both show the brutality of the drug business.
