Yeah it's not an easy one. I'll give the answer it's Paris, Texas. Cinematography wise one of the best looking movies you'll see.

Mister Roberts? If not then it's a movie that everyone should watch. It's been years but I wore that DVD out.

nice
Shout out to the sequel, Ensign Pulver, with Walter Mathau. Interestingly Jack Lemmon played Esnign Pulver in Mr Roberts.

Love my parents for introducing us to so many great classic movies. We watched this one so much.

Yep. Such a great movie that is overlooked on the "war movie" threads.

It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, which they are remaking by the way. Jonathan Winters was great in that.

Chariots of Fire?
No. The quote from that scene is "Shoot straight, you bastards! Don't make a mess of it!" Hopefully, the quote "equalizes" the question for you.

Correct. I watched those movies on Saturday afternoons in the Army movie theater in Darmstadt.

Correct on first 2.
Maybe a hint on #3 is it was based on a very successful Broadway play that had a run of three and a half years. Basically takes place in 1 location.
