My theory on the real reason walking dead finale is postponed

They were gonna wait until last minute to film ending finale scene involving either Rick appearance, Maggie return, or a major character death (Carol/Daryl) and they did not want people to lifelessly be able to leak and spoil it online so they were gonna film it last minute. Covid cockblock and you know the rest

There might be something to that. They said the season finale had been filmed and was in post-production. Thing is...you can do post-production from the safety of your own home.

some of what's going to happen is relatively telegraphed:
-whisperers defeated/beta dead
-zeke will die out on the road with eugene
-carol/daryl will have a split
-maggie will re-appear
-eugene & yumiko will meet whoever/whatever this new thing winds up being
-negan will be negan

Lauren Cohan has been confirmed to be in season 10 and will be a regular in season 11
