Yeah but I prefer cheap make up to cheap computer effect. Gives it an original Michael J Fox teen wolf look.

Peter was the only one that ever turned into a "wolf" looking werewolf back in season 1, instead of some hairy dude.

I doubt it since Derek was part of his family. In the 1st season they made it out that alphas turned into the more wolf looking werewolves, while betas turned into the more man looking werewolves. But that changed when Derek turned into an alpha. I'm guessing it is less expensive to turn them into the more man looking werewolves than the computer generated wolf looking werewolves.

Yeah, I'm not sure how that whole family turned out to be werewolves. I can't remember if they addressed it in the 1st season, but I don't think they did. So far I think the only way they've shown someone could become one is by being bit.
It'll also be interesting to see what kind of werewolf Peter turns into next season. I wonder if they'll have him turn into the more wolf looking one or not.
