Watched this tonight because you posted this. A solid recommendation. Entertaining story, excellent soundtrack, and some surprising cameos. Legit metal heavyweights involved with making this movie and it showed.

Long hair kid was long overdue for an arse kicking. He got off light with just part of his hair getting cut

Watched it yesterday. I enjoyed it. There were some pretty funny moments. I was rolling after one particular scene involving a bunch of Judas Priest posters.

I thought it was a good all around coming of age flick as you said. It wasn’t Superbad-level comedy by any means, but was a good movie to watch on a lazy afternoon.

PSA: Definitely not a family movie for folks with young kids. (It’s rated R so this is probably obvious.)

Wife and I watched this last night. Really enjoyed it -- nothing life changing. But an easily enjoyable movie.

Loved the cameos -- even if they were a bunch of liars -- not a single one of those dudes would've left that hot tub.

Well, I'm pretty sure Rob Halford would have left.

True... but I was told by someone that used to tour with them that there was a period in time of heavy drug use, that he'd have sex with anyone and/or anything -- "he'd screw an ostrich if he could catch up to it with a step ladder."

I laughed pretty hard at that, a decent amount of scenes actually made me laugh. Pretty good little flick overall.

Much better than expected. I put it on last night expecting to watch a few minutes and be done but we watched it through to the end. Ever since the Two Cellos hit on YT I have been fascinated by electrified cellos.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. Just a solid feel good coming of age flick with a fantastic soundtrack. Nothing earth shattering, but just a solidly done flick.

Girl had a rack for sure. Loved her.

The drummer guy seemed like Harry Potter and Hot Tub Time Machine guy smashed together. I looked him up and he was in IT.

I liked it and I found myself jamming pretty good, but it's War Pig, so you're gonna rock back and forth.

I'd watch it again. I liked the long haired guy too. Especially with him being a metal-punk, but also rich.
