Which was the better hit? It feels so wrong to say it this way, but I loved when Cheese got smoked by Slim Charles (Cheese was such an arse and Slim is one of my favorite 2nd tier characters on the Wire) I practically jumped out of my chair, the comments after make it even better. "What the frick you do that for? Now we short the 9" "That was for Joe" "This sentimental muther fricker just cost us money"

Phil was such a self righteous prick, especially about his brother it was so great to see him get whacked, but what puts it over the top and it goat hit discussion of course is his head getting squashed by his wife's SUV, gross and kinda funny at the same time.

As far as the hit itself, gotta be Phil. Slim Charles hit on cheese was sorta ordinary

The hit on Phil was a giant FU to the segment of the audience that wanted silly hits all the time.

Especially with the kids throwing up and the guy saying OH shite so cartoonishly.

We just watched the season premiere that introduced, Buscemi, Vincent, and Loggia as new characters. Can't think of a bigger single infusion of talent into an ongoing series.

Phil's was epic.

Phil’s melts were awesome. When he melted down at his birthday party over how his family’s name changed to Leotardo at Ellis Island was awesome. Also his nick name being Shah of Iran was great. I despised cheese in a way that made his hit a awesome.
