Would totally go see that alone and not be embarrassed.

Would be worth it just to see 93-year-old Dick Van Dyke hoofing it.

Why do these people continue to remake movies that do not need to be remade? The original was perfect in every way and no one, NO ONE, will ever out perform Julie Andrews in this part. I have no desire to see the remake/reboot but if the theaters decide to show the original again, even in my 40s, I would not hesitate to go see it with no shame!!!

It's a sequel, not a remake.

I don't want to be excited for this, because Disney these days is the devil and it just speaks to the lack of any new ideas coming out of the entertainment industry.
...but goddamn it, I'm excited. Mary Poppins is one of my favorite kids' movies. I'm sure this new one will be the usual Disney communist propaganda piece and I'll hate it when its over, but I'll definitely be seeing it. Damn you, Mouse! Daaaaaamn yooooooooouuuuuuuuuu!!!

Trailer looks good.
I liked how they CGI'd Dick Van Dyke's head onto the dancing body.

I can't believe Angela Lansbury is still alive

Not sure that's CGI. The guy is in his 90's and still dancing some.

Sing it brother!
No sequels, no remakes - leave certain movies alone - by themselves...bad sequels, bad remakes sully the stand alone - and it should be stand alone - that's it - leave it alone.

This needs to stop, I'm not for sequels to movies that don't require a continuation of the story. Especially if the main character is as iconic as Mary Poppins, and further more Julie Andrews is the only Mary Poppins. Her voice is synonymous with the character. If Disney were to do a follow up it should have been done when Andrews could do it.

Mary Poppins was a horrible nanny. If that was real life they'd call child services on her

They’re releasing the title of SW Episode IX early.

Julie Andrews is old af and has only done a few live-action films this century.
I think Disney went the right route with re-casting the role.
