They have a slew of new characters they can bring on board for another 20+ films, and they could do another epic story arc that would dominate the box office if they'd focus on good stories instead of trying to include every group under the sun.

I agree. Lock Robert Downey up at the studio and work him until he’s dead. Enough is enough.

Hollywood has had a good run. Let's give someone else a shot.

Yeah, movies since Endgame have been pretty lame.

Afraid they're just cashing checks on their past glory at this point.

Good luck with that. We need to be continously lectured on our whiteness and straightness.

They're not done yet.

They used most of the iconic characters up in the first run, and are now on a bunch of c and d-list characters.

A good example is Black Widow. She has an interesting story, but isn’t a worthy enough character for a legitimate and meaningful lead in a cinematic film.

Comics were always great because while surreal they still connected with the average person. Instead of building in that, they decided to try and catch the connection for a bunch of characters represented by supremely minority groups that most people don’t relate to. That is leading to less interesting stories and losing faith from fans.

Hell, while there were good spots in MOM, the overall film was awful and basically trashed a bunch of good characters and wiped out another Avenger. Why? To prop up another newer character that has no connection.

When you pander to fringe groups and then ignore your historic fanbase, this is the crap that comes from it.

Your proof of the troubled present is a character who died 3 years ago...

Hard to be drawn to go see a movie these days. Most of it is political garbage.

Wouldn't surprise me if in the next MCU, the superheroes all wore COVID masks.

X-men is ripe for creating more political rants

Anyway, I am more shocked that it’s taken this long for people to turn on the MCU. Disney has beaten a dead horse
