I got the SJW vibe because it was all women and they were all “badass” then the two male villagers are soy boys who are awkward and can’t do anything.

There was exactly one woman in the village who happens to be able to shoot, every other woman was just a farmer like the men. I assume she is a Chekhov's gun and there is more to her story to unfold. Mando hasn't even left Sorgan yet.

As for the arguments about the fight with Cara Dune (Gina Carano) if you watch it closely you see most of the major blows (like the one that knocked him down) are with her armored forearms, the same as the fight with the Klatooinians in their camp, she hits with her forearms. Further, the knuckles of her gloves are armored as well.

I get the feeling the tracker is limited in range and the bounty hunter Dune killed got lucky in picking a planet. I don't think Greef Carga has given the ship coordinates to the bounty hunters at this point.

Here's my question. Is that walker some form of artificial intelligence like a droid? It seemed like there was no driver. If so, what is its motivation?

Im sure this has already been discussed a million times.

But I havr heard nothing but good reviews about the show. I thought Disney basically already lost the SW fanbase. Are the people behind the movie trilogy completely different than the people making the show? What gives exactly.

Crazy the At-St has a toy out already in stores this week, but still no baby Yoda merch in stores.
Went to five Star Wars stores in the last few days and nada.

They are missing a huge opportunity by keeping him "secret". What I think is funny is you can buy knockoff baby Yoda's before the licensed ones exist.

It looked like Cara was trying to force the relationship on him and he was like "Nope, I'm good"

Well yeah. Her husband is dead and all the other dudes in her village are completely worthless. She was just trying to stake her claim before any other women tried to get a piece.

Plus it plays into Western tropes with how the single woman in the town immediately wants on with the hero lone gunman when he rolls up.

He hasn’t even tried to investigate the source or means they are tracking him by. Wtf

This is what I’m talking about. He’s supposedly the best bounty hunter in the galaxy but seems oblivious to the fact that baby Yoda is being tracked. He hasn’t bothered to investigate it or even tried to disable it.
This has already been discussed. It's a biological tracker, it's like plugging in a DNA swap into a proximity device. When you get closer, it blinks faster.

You have to be reasonably close, he had to be told where to go to find the target (baby yoda) in the first place.
Of course when the target is brought back for the bounty, everyone's trackers were lit up.

He took it and went into hyperspace, and went to somewhere off the beaten path. As they said, not even a spaceport on that planet. His plan was sound, take the kid somewhere people don't go, and you're good.

The problem, which seemed pretty clear to me, was that the other bounty hunter showed up... due to tracking the Mandalorian himself. Maybe his ship, or maybe his armor??
But anyway, with one showing up, he couldn't risk leaving the kid there anymore.

Oh, and someone mentioned why the Empire is hunting the kid, quit saying "Empire". The New Republic was mentioned last episode, this is after the Empire fell. There is no broad government, good or bad; every planet is basically on it's own now. Especially in the Outer Rim.

Or Gina Carano sold him out and killed the bounty hunter as part of some long play plan to gain Mando's trust.

Saying Jon Favreau is a hack writer who doesn't respect his characters is dumb as all get out.

Watched it a second time yesterday - I think they cover this. They "made a lot of noise" for such a backwards out of the way place. So they clearly think rumors of a Mandolorian could/would spread. So perhaps other Bounty Hunters are just tracking down every rumor that comes their way about a Mandolorian.

Steep drop off from the first 3 episodes. The love story between Mando and the village woman was incredibly forced and cringe worthy.

First 3 episodes were 10/10. This was a 7/10.
