"Love" (Netflix original) is ridiculously unrealistic

Gus is ugly AF and a huge pussy, but he's banging a hot chick, a hot actress basically threw herself at him, and he turned down a threesome with hot college girls.
I like what the show is trying to do, but Gus either has to be better looking or have a better personality.

Did you forget the part where she is a huge mess and Gus is a massive upgrade over the last guy she was sleeping with?
Besides, ugly to average looking dudes outkick their coverage all the time and they don't always have the money or personality for it to make sense at a glance.
IMO her character is experienced enough that it would make sense she would try a relationship with a person who doesn't treat her like shite all time.

i like the show but for being a 90 pound odd looking dude with very few masculine tendencies he is falling arse backwards into some pretty nice tail.

1) they probably aren't as bad looking as gus

That dude is a whiny bitch with a nose that casts a shadow. He's got one of those faces you just want to punch...just a real visceral reaction. Plus you can tell the actor is a huge fig in real life
That being said, I thought the second season of master of none was a bit unrealistic in that regard too. Aziz Ansari got a bit full of himself and it showed in the character he wrote that had two insanely hot chicks fighting over his sense of humor, certainly not his looks

Yeah, Rachel was a realistically pretty girl that would be obtainable for a non rich Aziz type. The Italian chick and some of those tinder dates were way out of his league

I don't disagree about Gus. I think the actor who played him is one of the writers, so maybe that's why he got the part. But hell, half the shows that have ever been on tv seem like they have a meh guy with a very hot chick.
Once you get past that though, I thought it was a very good series.
