Not sure why you guys want these comedians with a narrow appeal to move to SNL where they’d have to dumb down their shtick for the general audience.
If you watched the 9pm rerun last night it was hosted by Phil Hartman and was packed with OJ jokes, a cartoon where Michael Jackson is run out of Europe for grabbing boys, and the Joe Pesci Show where Pesci and Sinatra beat the crap out of Michael Jackson.
They’ll show that as a rerun, but that humor wouldn’t fly in the new episodes.

There was Neverland Ranch joke in the rerun from this season that aired 90 minutes later. There was an OJ sketch when Gal Gadot hosted the week he got out of jail.

Did they show MJ grabbing multiple little boys away from their parents and then have four guys beat him to the ground and then kick him mercilessly?
And the OJ nervous on a blind date skit was pretty tame.

No because he's been dead for a decade so it's played out if they're still going with that.

I really don’t, but if this were the 90s then absolutely. The point is that SNL is a relic where only someone like Tim Dillon could save it, but it’s merely a cathedral to the Woke right now. If Lorne gave me his job, I’d fire at least half the cast and try to go after these actual funny people.

They had Shane Gillis and ruined that before it even started bc of the woke crowd.

I mean, if some SNL dweeb wants to tell me Keenan isn't actually good at sketch comedy, I guess I'll listen
But he comes off as likable, light hearted and amusing in almost every sketch he's in. Half the cast consists of self-loathing white people and he's the polar opposite.
He's pure fun in a show that is increasingly not fun at all

How have I never seen this guy? He is insane. His Comedy stand up about different ice creams was incredible. Just delivering zingers left and right.

His podcast drops every Saturday at midnight EST, so who the hell needs SNL? I listen to many podcasts, but only Tim Dillon and Bill Burr's are must-watch under any circumstances. His Patreon eps are top shelf too, well worth the $5/month. Even ordered a Fake Business sweatshirt to show support
He clearly bothers thin-skinned people from both sides of the aisle too, so that's also a big positive for me.

Never heard of him. I watched the stuff you posted, he's like Artie Lange and Alex Jones combined. Obnoxious and unfunny.

If you don’t find any of them funny, then I think you may be the problem.
Do we give our llamas fluoride? Hell no we don’t give them fluoride! That’s something that really sinks with people!

Or maybe I didn't think he was amusing and your lousy taste in fat obnoxious a-hole "comedians" is the problem. Comparing him to Norm is shameful.

Two of the outright hilarious people on earth, only in very very different ways.
Tim Dillon also loves Jones. He gets him. His Megan McCain bit is original and hilarious as hell.
His line about Ellen (I won't spoil it) is one of funniest things I've seen in a while. LINK

God, his weed rant reminds me a so much of a couple of my friends. We're men of a certain age now, but still can pretty much only converse about music or movies. Sometimes conspiracy theories. And that's fine, it fills a niche between friends who only want to talk about sports or politics or whatever. But it gets a little weird sometimes feeling like we've been having the same conversation since were freshmen in high school sitting in the cafeteria. It's pointless to try to talk about real life or anything that sounds heavy with them.

Did he just grab script ideas from the Poliboard?

I suppose that's true. One's a blowhard conspiracy nutbag snake oil salesman and the other hoovered up so much coke he no longer has a nose. Two sad sacks of funny right there.

Nah, it's a dead politician incest bit. Whoopty do. It's supposed to be shocking, I guess.

IMO, he's at his best when he's just talking off the cuff. The guy's mind works lightning-fast, and he can riff just about anything without notice. IMO his prepared sketches/videos aren't the proper way to get introduced to him, because you first need to understand how his brain ticks. But hey, I also know he's definitely not for everyone, and I hope that continues...
