He’s in a fricking dress though.

A robe with pants underneath

Like the robes all the nonarmored elves wore in the LOTR movies.

Ok, a guy who looks and dresses like Liberace, that is not a crazy thought to go through someone’s head.

Yeah man Liberace was known for wearing
Mutes towns with moderate adornment.

He isn’t wearing a fricking rhinestones cape or anything.

Again your complaints aren’t based in reality.

Celebrimbor was no Henry the VIII.

He was known for being a flaming homosexual. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but that is not a crazy thought to have.

The issue is connecting the dots.

Why do you think he looks like a flamboyant homosexual.

Liberace wore insanely flamboyant outfits and talked like a stereotypical gay man.

Neither is true of this character. So comparing them IS a crazy thought to have.

Nor am I comparing him directly to the man Henry VIII. Don't deflect.

Pointing out that a tunic or cloak was not uncommon for men in a "medieval" age to wear. Which is often the type of dress that is mirrored in fantasy fiction like we're currently discussing.

Because he looks exactly like Liberace.

There’s no point in arguing with woke progs. They will never admit their fault. They are parasites to society in every which way.

He's literally wearing a tunic.

That has similar Elven embellishments that we saw in other representations of Tolkien's content. Velvet, golden stitch, elaborate details in the stitching, etc.

Look at all those queers wearing dresses. Tolkien is rolling over in his grave. Did Jackson even read LOTR?

I mean I don’t know many, Tolkien fan or not, that wouldn’t describe the Elves in LOTR as having feminine features/qualities. They’re the medieval metrosexual.

To be honest, many elves did have an attitude about them, which could come off as seeming a bit… gay.

I actually agree with you there. But seeing that Peter Jackson gave Legolas blonde hair instead of brown and you're certainly not going to criticize that, you really don't get to complain about Celebrimbors hair without being a hypocrite.
