I sorta remember that movie. I got my mom to rent it from the grocery store for me as a kid. I was like 6 or so, in my mind it was clearly about the dog.
It was not. I was very confused. I couldn't tell you what it was about to this day. But that was the moment I learned the sensation of "wtf," even if I didn't have the words to articulate it yet.
