So in the original Terminator after the T-800 has its legs blown off, how does it continue to pursue Sarah Conner? Sarah is wounded but is able to somewhat easily navigate herself though the hydraulic press. The T-800 had no legs to push off from and no fleshy grips on its hands/fingers, yet somehow it continues to move forward.

How?!

The meat on the T 800 starts to decay and rot after a few days.

How did the one in the most recent maintain?

To be fair, it wasn't moving very efficiently. But it was still clawing and grinding to try to get at them, which was kinda the whole point...it was a machine that was relentless.

He's a cybernetic organism." Living tissue over a metal endoskeleton.".

When it was injured, some of the tissue died, thus the smell. I guess, as the tissue heals and regenerates, all the T-800 needs to do is stick to better hygiene.

I think its more complicated than that, but ill accept it as an answer cause its an odd debate.

I've always like to think they decay kinda quick, almost being like zombie-ish after a few weeks time, cause in their world they didnt really need to blend in with humans, if so,..only for a short time cause they will blow their cover anyways.
