Jon: hey, Sam just told me (moments after finding out that you burned his family) that I am heir to the iron throne, not you. My psychic brother also confirmed it.
Will you bow out from your claim and acknowledge me as rightful king now? I mean I know you have spent every waking moment for the past years striving to arrive here and take back your throne but I’m asking you to just give that up and take our word. There’s no way Sam would have any reason to be against you. This is solid evidence.

Dany: Oh yeah? Dracarys.

*Jon doesn't burn*

Jon: What now bitch?

Has Jon ever had an “ouch, fire” situation to create plot hole?

It’s not a plot hole. Targaryens are not all immune to fire. Hell, in the books, Dany gets burned riding Drogon.

Was just thinking about this. Enjoyed how Sam told Jon, but have no idea how they can tell Dany/everyone else in a non cheesy-believable way.

If they can convince Dany, the easiest path forward is to not tell anyone, and have them assume its a Targ and a Snow/Stark sharing the power. This would obviously backfire if Dany dies, or if word get out anyway. (Assuming Dany agrees in the first place)

I just can't see how its going to work with how pissed off the Northern houses already are at Jon. Feel like they're going to tell them *outrage ensues but they can't go anywhere because tNightKing has come* and Jon wins them over in battle. Really have no idea.

Feel like the Aunt/Nephew thing is going to be an absolute non-issue from the initial reaction.

Incest is not a major hindrance for GOT characters.

You know, like previous royals.

If I'm Jon, I'm whispering in her ear "I'm Aegon Targaryn, 6th of his name and rightful heir to the Iron Throne" while I'm balls deep in her and then hanging on for the ride.

If Jon brings it up to Dany she’s likely to go all out mad-queen and conclude that they are all conspiring against her.

If Jon brings it up to Sansa she’s likely to use it against him and claim the north for herself.

I just can’t see this playing out well for AegonVI.

And we've got Viserys who burned to death from the gold in Season 1.

Rewatched Ep 1 of Season 8 again last night, didn't realize that Davos suggested the two rule together instead of having a single monarch.

I bet they agree to something like that at some point but one of them dies before they can rule together.

Dany has to know something is different about him.

You formally propose marriage, if she accepts you tell her and give her a chance to reconsider, if not you wait until after the battle and wait for the right time depending on how things play out. I don’t think he wants to be king unless he has to anyways.

But priority one is don’t let everyone die by pissing her off before the battle while she can just leave with most of the coalition army and dragons.

She's not leaving, Mother of Dragons wants revenge on the Night King for killing one of her children.

Jon is not going to say anything about it unless it is necessary. He is not going to upset the dynamic until they actually defeated the Night King (if at all). After that maybe it will come out. Currently, he realizes that titles are pointless if everyone is dead.

Correct... He won't say anything until later if necessary
