I don't recall the crane technique used in KK3
He did try it against Chozen in KK2, but was unsuccessful. He obviously no do right.

So...Daniel-son moves to California from Newark New Jersey...why did this freaking kid ride a Supergoose Cruiser? If they wanted to stay true to his Jersey background, he should have been riding a Thruster.
They are supposed to be tight on money...but the kid throws away a chromemolly bike like that...those freaking things were $500 back in the day. It still had the blue anodized arraya rims and everything. I'm calling B.S. on that.

Anyway...any kid who was into BMX enough to have a Supergoose, would have been stoked to move to California...the hotbed of BMX racing.

Daniel is a massive douche with no social awareness. I wouldn't trust his version of those off screen events to be accurate at all. Odds are she was trying to break up with him for weeks and he could get a clue until she got fed up and kissed a random football player as he was driving by causing him to flip out and trash his car the same way he always does to his bike.
