She could have shot all her scenes this season in like 2 days.

GRRM needs to finish ordering the world’s best pizzas then finish the goddamn books.

Until then, this is what we get. Decide whether to laugh or cry.

A tale of love, incest, and period sex next to your dead inbred son.

This whole episode was basically her death. It was 80 minutes of her dying. Slowly realizing there is no hope, there is no way for her to weasel out of this one alive. We even see her in deep sorrow and regret at the end, desperately wishing she wouldn’t die and knowing that she could have survived this but made a bad decision.

Nice take!

Ehhh, I would have rather seen her sitting with someone she felt she had the upper hand on drinking a glass of wine, smirking that shitty smirk, then realizing she had been poisoned like her son writhing on the ground while the other party talks shite to her as she dies.

Jamie going back to her and dying like that was the most UBER Beta male death of a good character I have ever seen. He went out like a bitch

The Two Towers Scene

I wish they had done this. In fact, I thought they were setting this up when both women were looking at each other from across the city. Jamie makes it to the top of the keep just in time to embrace Cersei as Dany and the dragon slowly rise into view and then burn them alive. Another scene I felt they could have done better.

And they let her die in comfort in the arms of her brother? She did not deserve a fast death like that. I honestly would have rather Arya have killed her.

That is your opinion and I respect it. I thought her death was great. I feel the death was more about closing out Jaime's arc than it was Cersei's.

I do disagree with this. It was very tense and dramatic. Especially if you view it as Jaime's arc and not Cersei.

So she is the main villian for 8 seasons who multiple characters want to kill. She is an evil major character. And they let her die in comfort in the arms of her brother? I actually think she died rather pathetically. Cowering beneath the Red Keep. Looking for a way out. Sobbing about how she doesn't want to die.

I feel like book Cersie would have been more badass in her death. In Clash of Kings she is wearing a suit of armor just waiting for Stannis to come in and slaughter them all. If she was able to survive in Maegar's holdfast and waited for Dany to march in I'm confident she would have died smiling to the Queen. It was Jaime that reduced her to tears.

My biggest issue.

She basically stops scheming this season and just accepts what's about to happen?

Her entire contribution to this season was being fake pregnant and banging Euron?

And... standing there... when she could have wiped out Dany and all of her advisers, including her despised little brother whom she hated for her entire life.

What about Jaime? Id be fricking pissed if i gave up a life in Winterfell and came back to die like this

Obviously he didn't want to die, but in that moment, there's no doubt he preferred going out with Cercei as opposed to never having left and still being in Winterfell.

I said it last night, but really I wish it would have went down this way.

I really am bummed about the Cersei/Jaime death, I would have rather Jaime walked up on her pinned under some castle rubble and have to give her a mercy killing while in tears, and then him succumb to his wounds.
