I'm sure it's been discussed before, but this is a good movie if you're looking for a cool thriller!

The ending could have been better, but what else did you not like about it?

Long...boring...and terrible ending

and I LIKE Night. He thinks outside the box but this wasn't as bad as The Happening. I wanted to sue him for that stinker

I'm not entirely sure you understand how movies work.

I can't understand how the man who brought us the greatness of The Village, the Glass trilogy and the 6th Sense can produce these giant sized turds. Does he have a coke problem and needs $?

They should’ve stuck with the same ending as the novel.

It was decent until the ending. Would’ve been better if they were just crazy af

Stepping back from the story and considering the performances, I thought Bautista did a great job. He wants to be seen as a serious, versatile actor but he knows that his appearance is a hindrance to getting cast in the variety of roles that he wants. So this character was perfect for him, a school teacher who has to convince this family of something crazy, knowing he has an intimidating presence. So he put in this sincere, soft-spoken performance which I thought was really good but it might have unfortunately just emphasized the fact that it will be difficult to cast him in any role that doesn't call for a big hulking presence.

I wonder if this expectation is a result of his success with The Sixth Sense. We watched the movie, and towards the end we were waiting for the “twist” that never came.
