Movie was destroyed by critics and it was a massive financial flop, but it's a solid movie.
High fantasy of the story, a different take for sure. I enjoyed every second of it.
Charlie Hunnam is a badass and Djimon Hounsou is great too. Jude Law played a very good antagonist and little finger is even in this thing.
If anyone is looking for anything to watch I'd recommend it. It's not streaming anywhere I don't think except for rent on Amazon. It was $3.

I preferred the Clive Owen version. Although neither would be a movie I’d recommend

The Monty Python version is best.

Fair enough, could be that I've run through so much at this point that I'm getting desperate

Yeah I’m a huge fan of this movie. It was free in IMBDtv or something recently

You liked it? I thought it was an awful mess full of cliches and bad CG. I was bored as hell throughout.
I'd put it on the level of dreck like Immortals, Wrath of the Titans, and the Jamie Foxx Robin Hood.
I guess I do see why some might enjoy that sort of thing but it wasn't for me at all.

Clever spin to have Merlin travel through time and bring back some clippers and Dapper Dan

Everyone should just watch Excalibur instead.

If you can get past the fact that they completely butchered Arthur’s origin story, it’s not too terrible of a fantasy movie. I think they planned a sequel but it got canned because this film was a huge box office bomb.
Question for those who’ve seen it. Was the sorceress supposed to be Guinevere? I don’t recall her character having a name.

I was very disappointed with it.
