I think he is hilarious but ive watched two episodes when he was on the panel now and he barely talks when in that position.

I wonder for how much longer Tony will put up with Drew Nickens. I purposely start the episode a little late just to fast forward through him.

I'm stoked we will get more Biden and Trump. I see Harland Williams back there too. I wish they'd save him for some more shows at the Mothership instead of doing arenas.
Guests tonight are Chad Daniels and Sam Morril. I'm not familiar with either.

Some strange thing happened yesterday and a YT channel that had both MSG shows popped up on my feed so I watched what I could while it was up

Not sure how either will do as panelists. But I just watched Chad’s Netflix special and it was damn good. I loved it. He started off leading me to believe he was clean enough to watch with my wife. 5 minutes in and it was a no-go. Be ready if you find it tough to find humor in religion. My wife is way too religious to find some of his content funny. But he had me laughing out loud a lot.
I think Sam Morril is a guy I watched with one of my sons. His special was pretty awesome too.

I listened to the whole thing while doing yard work. It was ok. Not great. There were some good moments but I can barely remember what they were about.

Chad talked about being on KT on one of the Middle of Somewhere episodes. He had never watched a single KT episode, and was not expecting what he got with William Montgomery. Of course, Tony left out any briefing of anything to do with William......probably on purpose. He got to Chad. Chad said he wanted to fight William. Should be interesting to see how he comes off in the episode.

When he started working on the religious stuff a woman at one of his shows who "had been going to comedy shows for twenty plus years" got so offended that she reported him to the Bishop (or whatever) and tried to have him declared an enemy of the church. True story. Chad took delight in that.

I like Chad. He's been around for years now and has a few specials. He does a podcast with Cy Amundson called Middle of Somewhere. Chad was on one of the legs of the big Burt and Tom Segura arena tour. I'm hoping Cy keeps getting back into standup and touring. He was sidelined for a few years by a bad case of psoriatic arthritis that damn near did him in.
Cy's story on This is not Happening about taking a Greyhound bus trip is hysterical. Definitely worth watching.

Chad also has a recent Youtube special he put out in like March. It was just as good. He was on the Fully Loaded tour last year in N.O. doing some material from these 2 specials. He was the best of the night.

Yeah, he did the two specials thing where he recorded two different specials on back-to-back nights, I think. It was all good stuff, too, which is actually pretty impressive.
I've missed him the last couple of times he came to town. I'm going to try to catch a show the next chance I get.

He most certainly was not the best of the night. That title went to Tiffany Haddish.
Im not a Chad Daniels fan so IDK how he usually is but he was particularly bad that night in Nola. He didn't really tell any jokes just made a bunch of priests fricking kids references with zero creativity. I have no issue with making fun of priests being pedos, but its been done so if you better be original and clever if your gonna go that route. Especially in a heavily Catholic city like New Orleans. He missed bad.
He did have one funny bit about his daughters friend blowing him.
