You people have taken BvS to an obsessive/compulsive disaster porn level. Realize that as comfortable as you are living there, from the outside it seems manic and small. The usual suspects show up in every DCEU thread and it reverts to what the last 5 pages have been- a missive on BvS and why it sucked for the thousandth time . It's not the DCEU fanboys doing this- it's MCU fanboys or the DC fans that profess to love the comics so much- they are unhinged by Snyder. I look at you like any other sub-group that can't control their vices...hoarders etc. BUt at least I don't have to look at hoarder's shite on a message board over and over again. Keep up the small work

Yet you find it necessary to come into this thread to insult everyone having this movie discussion?

"You know how i know you don't know the character?

Bucky typically, in the comics, is both a hot head and arrogant"

Well, we're talking about the movie version.

"They've made this clear in the films. Getting angry enough to keep pumping rounds into a shield is par for the course, he knows he can get himself out of a jam. "

They have? Watched the movie numerous times and don't recall that point ever being made. If so, I'll concede that. However, that just supports my other point about how bad TWS is as a villain. Not only does he cause Cap to betray his core values but he's not really even much of a threat.

"Hey guys, when the dude with the metal arm and greasy hair attacks here's what we do: just talk trash to him like a playground hoops player. He's got such poor self-discipline and marksmanship skills that he'll just pump entire magazines of ammo at whatever cover you're behind. Then when he does a reload he'll be standing slap in the middle of the street. Someone just shoot him in the head."

Aaaaaaaaaaaand FIN

1. At minimum can we all agree that Jesse Eisenberg was the worst casting choice of this generation's super hero movies?

Agreed on the male side. If we can have it entered into the official record the Maggie Gyllenhall was the worst female casting.

What because she's not hot?

Honestly the very same movie makes a worse casting decision, and it's Amy Adams as Lois Lane. Aside from being a journalist, I don't see anything in common that she has in common with Lois Lane. A spunky Jennifer Lawrence type would have been better.

and while it was a cool scene it made 0 sense for him to let Batman go save her. He could have cleared that warehouse, saved his mom, smoked a cig, and headed for Lex in about 10 seconds.

This.

He even stops to talk to Lois on his way to Gotham. Hey dude, your mom has less than hour before they kill her with a flame thrower. Put Lois out of your fricking mind for one second.

Just out of curiosity, was there is anything you disliked or thought was incorrect in TWS? Anything you felt should have been done differently?

I usually appreciate your comments on this board, so I'm not asking this in out of negativity. I'm just curious.

Not enough Crossbones and really not enough development of the character. Crossbones is a lot of fun when used correctly as the complete antithesis of Cap
Cap and Widow batner was uneven, sometimes fun, sometimes cheesy. Trying a little too hard a lot.
Pierce and Geopolitics. More.
Too many one liners
Make Peggy's impact better - More time spent with her
Better Special Effects - Some of the Cap Mocap was bad
The Zola exposition scene - There's always a better way to get that much exposition out. I really dislike that whole sequence.

The action sequences and overall arc were solid, but it could have been both a bit more personal - More Crossbones, better banter, more Peggy - and more intense with better Pierce sequences and better description of the Hydra uprising.

I think getting Falcon in there was nice, he's a great addition to the MCU and Mackie is fantastic in the role, but it forced them into some spots where it took focus off of core ideas. I'd flirt with the idea of removing him and giving screen time to others. But at the same time...ugh. Maybe add 10-15 minutes decrease Falcon's role a little and work on the rest of the stuff.

So...the only group that ought to like this shite are fans of the DC movie universe only? Well...good call there, I guess. I can see why Marvel fans might not like them, and at least you seem to have enough sense to grasp that fans of the DC properties can also look at this horseshite and not like it...so progress! Of course, if WB/DC's goal is only to appeal to 1/3 of that potential audience, things will never get any better.

I think we all like DC properties. just not the way Snyder has decided to put them on screen.

This 100%. I admittedly like Marvel as a whole to DC but Batman has been my favorite character since I can remember. I wanted the DCEU to be even better than the MCU but they didn't have the vision or the foresight to put it all together like Marvel has. It's more of a nod to Marvel really. Not all of the MCU films have been top of the line but they've all continued the story in some way and none of them have been complete duds either. Not even Age of Ultron which gets hate across the board.

Have a great time living in last year. I didn't say you don't still have the right to bitch about BvS- just that I feel it's infantile and pathetic. That's all.
You have the right to post ad nauseum about your hate of it, just as I have the right to be tired of it.

What an a-hole you are. "I think you're pathetic, cheers!"

If you're tired of something, stop going back to it, moron. Hint: This thread.

Not, as they say, A Zach Snyder Joint. I liked WW. It suffered at the end from the Snyderization of the final fight scene which took place at night with all kinds of shite flying around. But the rest of it was really good. No Man's Land was one of the most heroic scenes in all of these movies if you ask me.

Talking about a movie from last year...on a movie board. I agree...I'm quite the pioneer.

And feeling the need to argue with me about it is...better, I guess?

And you can release yourself from that by simply not taking part in discussions you are tired of. It's super easy. for instance...I'm almost certain I've never even clicked the fricking link to the Fantasy Sports board. Or...I could prance into there and start talking to them about how's it's fricking pathetic that grown arse men are playing "fantasy" sports.

I think I'll just stay here.
