Shitty women have a real talent for hiding their shittiness until you’re in too deep.

Married guy who out kicked his coverage. I have zero interest in ever watching this, or letting my wife watch it for that matter. This looks incredibly miserable.

It's certainly not an uplifting movie. But if you want to watch 2 actors smear the screen with their acting chops, give it a watch

They are both children. Neither can say what they really want out of relationship, and they could have avoided most of this drama by sitting down and talking. But both wanted to cling to their victimhood too much to do that. And in the end, they end in a place they would have ended up had they just talked.

We have no idea who as at fault in the marriage, as we didn't see their marriage. But in the divorce? She's at fault. At every turn, she escalates things and makes it more into a war. She walks out of the collaborative proceedings, she hires the shark lawyer forcing him to do so as well, and she visited all of the other lawyers to intentionally conflict him out. She used visitation as a weapon and does things out of pure spite when he at least is making a good faith effort.

And in the end, they are in the same place if she had just sat down for an hour in the collaborative session. Only short several hundred thousand dollars. Just so she can say she won.

I watched it last week and although the acting was pretty good for the most part I just really didn't care for the movie. I fricking hated Scar Jos character. Almost the entire situation could be blamed on her selfishness and narcissism.

Miserable movie.

This is not entertainment.

She looked awful and her character was awful and then you're left having to listen to Adam Driver complain forever.

They never seemed like they would actually get together IRL, was this some massively drunk hook-up? The movie doesn't explain the implausibility.

I’ve never been a big Adam Driver “hater”. I think he’s a pretty good actor. However, reading through this thread, I realized that this movie turned Adam Driver—Marine, Darth Vader’s grandson!—into David Schwimmer.

And having been divorced, this movie was miserable. It portrayed women as I see them.

Isn't it basically an movie version of Noah Baumbach's divorce?

if you really dictate what your wife watches, you should give it a watch because it’s a great glimpse into how much you’re gonna get fricked when your wife finally realizes she’s her own person.

I honestly have no idea. I don't care about most celebrities in real life. I like movies, not celebrity. But if he did, it would certainly inform his point of view
