Just watched “Born on the Fourth of July”… what’s y’all’s opinion on it?

I thought it was good. Wasn’t expecting it to be what it was though. Oliver Stone did good making me feel sympathetic. Tom Cruise was good in it, too.
My only gripe is that it was only two and a half hours long.

It's pretty good, probably Stone's 3rd or 4th best movie.

You really want movies longer than 2.5 hours? Crazy!

I liked it but I felt the transition from when he returned home to when he became an activist was kind of a big jump and not well explained.

If you ever feel like taking a walk through crazy town, go read Kovic's book that the movie was based on.
