My wife and I like to check out TV shows in the off season of college football. (that's my payment for having a tolerant wife that allows me my football with no grief..LOL)

It was recommended to us by a friend that likes Sci-Fi/Fantasy..

We have just watched a few shows, but it really steals a lot of themes from Warehouse 13 which was a favorite show of ours.

I would rather they had just rebooted Warehouse 13 which so far is a much better show...

But The Librarians is a decent show that I am hoping will get better as the show progresses.

The Librarian was decent. A little slapstick, but good. The first season of Librarians was okay, but started dragging. I’ve only seen one episode this season. It’s starting to get a little old now.

I'd put a stain on Rebecca Romijn

Its based on some movies which, I think predate Warehouse 13.

It was. The first Librarian movie (made for tv movie) came out in 2004, Warehouse 13 didn't come out until 2009.

I liked those Librarian movies, even though they were kind of cheesy. But they had a surprisingly well known cast, with Bob Newhart and Jane Curtin to go along with Noah Wyle, for a made for tv movie series.

SO and I both love the show and have watched all the movies. I agree that it definitely noticeably dragged last season. I feel like they tried to get too serious and dramatic in a series that had prided itself on never taking itself too seriously.

I do miss that series, that and Chuck were almost always great ways to kill an hour.

Yep, all of them are very watchable movies. Have never sat down and watched any of them without commercial. Caught them all on one night on TNT, USA or some channel that used to show lots of movies. Have seen bits and pieces of them since.
One is set in NOLA.
