It’s been a while since I watched it. What are the boards thoughts on the movie?

They filmed the movie just 30 minutes from where I grew up. Needless to say I’ve seen it countless times. It’s a good movie if melodramatic at times.

One of the best Civil War movies ever made. Great performances by Denzel, Broderick, Carey Elwes, Andre Braugher, and Freeman.

The Critics score and audience score are exactly the same on RT...which almost never happens. 93%.

41 critics, 60,000 user reviews.

So pretty much everyone is on the same page.

Outstanding movie. That speech by Morgan Freeman is a pretty powerful moment.

The last 30 minutes are some of the best filmmaking in any movie, ever. I get chills the entire time.
