I always enjoyed Homeland, but they started waiting much too long before beginning new seasons and I loss interest.
The first few seasons are awesome though.

Season 1 is fantastic
2 and 4 are both good
3 is tough to get through but it ends well
Haven't seen 5 and beyond

season 1 is up there with any of the best seasons of the wire, sopranos and BB; it's that good.
season 2 starts out really strong as well, but then goes off the rails.
overall a great series, but you'll be disappointed after s1.

That series covers some serious damn ground. By the time you're on the final two seasons, Brody will seem like a character from a series you finished watching before starting Homeland.

Homeland is like 3 different shows spread out over 8 seasons
I have to give it credit though. Somewhere in the middle it wasn’t the best but they regrouped and the last two seasons have been very good.
The final season and series finale were top notch.

Just finished all 7 seasons. I found myself having some kind of serious irrational hate for Carrie. Maybe it’s because of how she manipulated and treated so many people so shitty.
