Definitely a very good film. I had already liked Jake G. but this may have been his best.

I did roll my eyes at the news race criteria, as it is so obviously opposite nowadays. Maybe the timeline was 30 years ago?

In all, I would recommend it to anyone.

Good movie, but it’s been a while since I’ve seen it. Remind me what the news race criteria was.

Great, great movie. Masterful direction and performances

A shame that Gilroy hasn’t been able to follow up with anything on that level.

A very rewatchable movie...almost a modern classic ala it's on TV on Saturday and now I'm going to watch the entire thing despite all the shite I wanted to get done.

I shouldn't have even brought it up, considering it was such a good movie. They mentioned several times that they only wanted news stories about minorities committing crime against white people. Not at all accurate today, but whatever.

In my opinion Nightcrawler is a perfect movie...I remember watching it in theaters on the edge of my seat enthralled with what was happening...masterful acting, directing, writing, and cinematography...unbelievable that it didn’t receive more acclaim honestly

I was far more anxious when Bill Paxton got into his van than I would have probably been in any other movie in that situation. It’s crazy how they build everything up in this film to make you on edge the entire time.

Jake G should be the Joker. Nightcrawler was great.

It's a terrific movie that felt dated the second it came out. It sort of felt like it was set in the 90s even though it was set in the present day. But Gyllenhall and Russo both totally commit to their roles as awful sociopaths. Which is why their relationship sort of works.

Obviously, from previous posts, everyone knows I'm a fan.

But it was on Prime and so I watched it again.

When I mentioned rewatchability I was underselling it.

Movie doesn't get old...gets better. You see more things.

This is truly a modern classic. It's got all the quirky things going for it, it never lets up with its pace and it sort of just sucks you in again and again.
