Just finished Zero Zero Zero on Amazon Prime

Highly recommended.
It's an 8 episode, limited series drama (not a documentary) that tracks a drug shipment from South America to Italy, by way of New Orleans, Africa, and the Middle East.
This may be the most unflinching look at the people in the drug trade that I've ever seen. Definitely NSFW for violence.
The episodes include dialogue in English, Spanish, Italian, French, Arabic, and an African language for scenes in Mali, so you'll need to enable your subtitles.
Two thumbs up

This show is the closest thing I’ve seen to Sicario and it is amazing. Even more brutal in some ways. 4 episodes in and a big fan of the different stories they’re telling. The Mexican one could be it’s own spinoff series. So badass. Highly recommend. I didn’t watch any previews before going into this but remember seeing this thread. Glad I checked it out
