This is the Ricky Gervais show. It's excellent IMO. Although there are a lot of laughs, I'm not sure I'd call it a sitcom. There's a lot of emotion, and the subject matter (death) adds depth and weight to the episodes.
So far there are two seasons. Each season has 6 episodes.
Highly recommended if you like Ricky Gervais.

I'm 3 episodes in and I'm digging it.

Good show, I liked both seasons a lot.
It led me to download and watch the original The Office on Amazon. I can't say I cared for it much, aside from Martin Freeman. Too cringy. The US version was almost the same for the first episode but they gradually changed Micheal Scott and made the show a lot better.

Does season 1 have a good ending?
I got a little burned out about 3 or 4 episodes in. It's an extremely sad and kind of cynical show. I liked the characters and style, but around when the (spoilers spoilers spoilers) homeless guy died I started thinking it was a little much for me.

I enjoyed both seasons. Some laughs and of course some sad moments. Still like Derek a little bit more from Gervais recent stuff. But glad to hear a S3 will happen.

Same. Seems like a show designed to let people who think that they're intelligent justify why being a walking miserable prick is a valid life choice.
