Ho Lee Fuk

I fast forwarded through the parts involving the torture of animals and it was still hard to take

Kinda wish I hadn't seen it, but I have to admit that in spite of those scenes it is pretty compelling television.

Worth watching if you have the stomach for it.

My favorite part of the whole thing was that the internet nerds accomplished absolutely nothing

They completely blew up his Manny defense and were able to show that he was actively planning everything out. You really think the prosecutors weren't given all the evidence they had collected on the guy?

I saw it differently. They did a good thing by using their time and energies for good.

There’s no chance I can watch this. People abusing animals is something I just can’t take.

Them comparing it too a movie didn’t do anything. There was no proof manny existed.

The internet nerds didn’t do anything. Cops didn’t even listen to them. I do believe If they had, maybe he doesn’t kill someone. The internet folk wouldn’t have found out who he was or where he was if he didn’t constantly tell them his identity and where he was staying via fake Facebook accounts

Honestly the internet folk made it worse. Caused one guy, who was dealing with depression already, to go over the edge and commit suicide. And in reality them giving him all the attention he was seeking is pretty much what led to him doing more and more crazy shite and eventually killing someone.

And I’m tired of everyone talking about “not being able to watch the animal cruelty parts”. The movie does not show any of his torture acts.

Shows him playing with kittens and begin to put them in a bag to be suffocated and it shows a cat tied to a stick right before he drowns it.

You don’t see anything. Just watch the damn show it’s good

It’s honestly crazy how normalizes killing humans is but hurting an animal is considered brutal. I’m the same way but even in the show it will show people watching him kill a guy and dismember him and they don’t even glance away. As soon as they begin to watch the animal cruelty they start crying and have to look away.

I kept the remote in my hand for all three episodes for this exact reason. Fast forwarded through every scene like that.

I still couldn’t watch him doing anything with the animals, even if they didn’t show the actual act. Just putting them in the bags was enough. I skipped any scene with animals after that.

You make a good point about how we normalize killing people. Even I found myself more upset about the animals than the human. I couldn’t even listen to the descriptions of what he did to the animals but didn’t mind hearing any and all details of what he did to the guy. Even the girl watched the killing and didn’t stop it until he got to the dog.

This is all speculation.

The suicide could possibly linked to the harassment that came from being improperly identified but since we hardly get any information on the person it's difficult to come to any solid conclusion.

Also, there is no way Luka would have only continued to kill animals. He was absolutely going to graduate into murdering people at some point. Getting some attention on the internet didn't make him escalate things. It's what made him sloppy enough to get caught.

I'll pass on this one. If I don't watch it then it never happened. Right?

They didn’t really get anything that pinpointed Luka, but holy shite it’s crazy what those nerds were able to find. The yellow vacuum, identifying what city/country a photo Luka posted was in, then literally walking around that city on google earth until they found the exact spot

It's pretty impressive the amount of information they generated from such a basic room/video.

I can't believe I was able to watch this. I almost didn't, because I can't go any animal torture.

*spoilers i guess*

I just regret he gets to live. That's a really disturbing person. Also, his mother is living in fantasy land. She reminds me a little of this lady, but not quite as nice.

I may have missed it in the doc, but where is the father in all this? Did he pass away or something?

I liked how his mom talked about Luka moving away to pursue an acting career and shortly after him telling her he’s a male prostitute. She’s so casual about it, like “well he left to be an accountant. Then discovered he was a better banker”

In my mind they directly pushed Jamsey Cramsalot Inhisass to take his own life. Hundreds of people harassed a man that was already going through depression and told him they were coming for him and basically told him to kill himself. They blew over it in the documentary bc that’s not the angle they were going with the documentary.

As far as Luka, there is definitely a high possibility that he would have eventually killed someone bc you know. Animal cruelty leads to human cruelty. But as it was made very clear. The dudes whole goal was to be famous and he was constantly trying to create fame with all the fake fan pages and fake celeb stories and trying to be a model/actor. He only resorted to doing crazy shite once that failed. It’s plausible if the cat killing video didn’t get soo much attention from the internet trolls that he would have moved on to something else. He also loved the fact that they were chasing him aka giving him more attention. Whenever they eventually got stumped and the “find luka” group aka his own personal “fan page” started to die down he would tell them his identity and then his locations so they would start to give him more attention.

Dude just wanted to be famous and killing animals/people was the only thing that worked for him

**major spoilers**

dude, after he killed the asian guy he cut off his butt skin and fed it to the dog. then still had sex with the dead body. they don't show this in the doc of course. he is a really disturbing person. he may have wanted fame, but he was bound to crazy stuff regardless. that's just nuts. we don't even know what all he has done.

Finished it a few hours ago... Def a well done documentary, although the internet people didn’t end up solving it, the cops did, the shite they came up with was pretty amazing. They likely pushed him to get to murdering a person sooner than he would have had they not run him down.

He def would have continued killing animals, what a sick frick.

I have the same question others have had, why the frick was nothing ever said about the second set of hands in the video and that expounded on?

Also, his mother should be in jail too... dumb bitch knew he was killing animals and then went on to try to protect him.
