Josh Gad is just crushing it thanks to Disney

Man, talk about a guy who knew when to cash in. He was a successful sidekick type actor, likeable but not a superstar, I’m sure he made plenty of money but I doubt he was making 10’s of millions.
Then he played Olaf in Frozen and allegedly wasn’t payed THAT well in comparison to the success of the movie and his role.
Since then for Disney he’s done at least: Frozen II, Beauty and the Beast, Artemis Fowl, A bunch of Frozen shorts, and he’s the narrator of their new series about the animals in their park. Plus however much he makes off of Olaf merchandise which has got to be a ton of $$$
Good for him, I always liked him as an actor and now thanks to that snowman he’s freaking crushing it.
He’s got to be #2 on the list of smaller actors who can thank Disney/Pixar for making them ungodly rich, #1 is clearly Larry the Cable guy who’s worth $80 million thanks to playing Mater in Cars

He has certainly fallen into a good pond to borrow an old country saying. If you play your cards right and get the perfect role even as a character actor you can make bank.

He is incredibly annoying imo. Don't know why. Just one of those people. He comes off as a Fallon try hard - and Fallon is already a try hard- especially with the "reunion" stuff which was unwatchable with him.

I couldnt agree more. The last thing I saw him in was that zombie movie from Australia on Hulu and he was insufferable. He's never been funny on screen.

I think I’m the only person who liked his show with Billy Crystal “The Comedians” since it only got one season

I would be down for a Book of Mormon reunion. I saw it in Nashville a few years ago and it was truly the funniest show/movie/event that Ive ever seen. He made the role famous so Id love to see him do the character.

He was okay at the start of his career but then he was almost everywhere, and then inserting himself even further into our pop culture consciousness.
