It appears our Lord Commander Weenie is triggered. BTW, I consider the fans critics as well as the so-call "experts":

quote:

"How I feel about the show right now is quite defiant. I think no matter what anyone thinks about this season—and I don't mean to sound mean about critics here—but whatever critic spends half an hour writing about this season and makes their [negative] judgement on it, in my head they can go f--k themselves. 'Cause I know how much work was put into this," Harington told Esquire.

"I know how much people cared about this. I know how much pressure people put on themselves and I know how many sleepless nights working or otherwise people had on this show. Because they cared about it so much. Because they cared about the characters. Because they cared about the story. Because they cared about not letting people down," he continued. "Now if people feel let down by it, I don't give a f--k—because everyone tried their hardest. That's how I feel. In the end, no one's bigger fans of the show than we are, and we're kind of doing it for ourselves. That's all we could do, really. And I was just happy we got to the end," he said.

He sounds just like the show writers: "Eff the fans; we don't care. Let's just wrap this up and move on."

Also Kit Harrington: The ending was "disappointing".

I get why they are defensive, their work is being trashed and it's really not their fault. Still though, they're directing their responses at the wrong people. Look at your writers and producers Kit.

This excuse can frick right off. If I pour hours of sleepless nights on a project over weeks and in the end my boss says it sucks I don’t get to say frick off.

Entertainment industry is here to entertain us, the GoT writers failed us so accept it. It’s not about hard work, every movie and tv show has hard work put into it.

Go take some acting lessons Kit, learn more skills than staring in disbelief.

this does not equate to it being good. you can work your arse off and still make something shitty.

And without even realizing it, Kit just summed up the whole theme of these final 6 episodes.

I get it to an extent. Probably taking it a bit personal for the hundreds of offscreen people he’s worked with for essentially his entire adult life. Those people no doubt have put everything into it as it’s been one of the most amazing things ever put in the small screen. Not like they’re gonna come out and say “yeah we busted our asses but the writers really sucked for the last two years. “

At least not yet.

He seems to be confusing fans and critics rightfully shitting on D&D with shitting on everyone.

It’s agreed that everything sans them, was done to the best possible outcome given the shitty screenplay and scripts everyone was given.

Filming was mostly great.
Acting mostly great.
Music top notch as always.
Costumes great.
Scenery great.

But the writing was and will always be a giant turd.

As an aside.

Does Kit have a potential role in SW now that he doesn’t wanna risk?

He seemed to dislike this garbage before the episode dropped.

Not when they're all crossing their fingers they'll be in the next Star Wars.

You aren't his boss. You might not like it, but he does get to say frick off.

1. Do these actors realize that no one's blaming them for the shite-show ending?

2. To all the apologists, it's pretty clear by all of this lashing out that even the show's participants realize this ending was a dog.

3.

I don’t put any blame on the actors. During that finale I could almost sense them cringing during their lines knowing this was dumb as frick
