And Mike and Bryan raved about Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender, but revealed later they were pretty much held at gunpoint to approve of how Shyamalan was butchering everything or they would never work again. I can not believe that JJ actually approved of what was done. No question he would have tossed back a script given to him to direct with no main character. JJ understands basic plot, character, and foreshadowing.

Here’s a question: JJ was an executive producer of TLJ. Did he show up to a single red carpet event for it? That speaks louder than anything JJ may have said with a team of lawyers pushing him to say certain words with a cattle prod.
