Jerry Van Dyke has passed away at 86
Posted by hsfolk on 1/6/18 at 2:06 pm60
Jerry Van Dyke -- the famed younger brother of Dick Van Dyke -- has died ... TMZ has learned.
Jerry's wife, Shirley, tells us ... he died Friday afternoon at their Arkansas ranch with her by his side. She says they were involved in a car accident over 2 years ago ... and Jerry's health had deteriorated since.
We're told Dick visited them at the ranch over the Christmas holiday.

He was great in The Middle
He was an adopted Arkansan... Married a girl from Hot Springs I believe and lived around Little Rock.
I met him one morning downtown in Little Rock just sitting outside at a table having coffee, enjoying the crisp air. He was very nice.
Coach was very, very underrated and he was a key cog in its success.

I’ll always remember him from Coach and Yes, Dear.
Rest In Peace, Jerry. You will be missed. Thanks for sharing your comedic talent with the world.

Definitely, I've heard of his brother but never watched his show or anything he's done. I loved Luther and Big Jimmy Hughes.
