It has universal acclaim, but how does 1 murder story make it through 4 seasons?

Also- the main actor was in something else I saw, and he seems pretty terrible and over the top. Kinda took me out of it

I don't know, but I can tell you that if you've ever been rectified, you know how painful it can be

Yes. It’s a bit slow but it’s really good

Really good show. Moves pretty slow but enjoyed it a lot.

Its not for everyone, and I think you have to be in the right mindset to fully appreciate it. It isn't like other shows that you can just sit there and watch. A lot of it requires really putting yourself in the characters' shoes, protagonists, antagonists, and everyone in between. I liked it, mainly because it was a non saccharine-sweet look at how a kid who goes on death row at age 18 would act like as a 30 something set loose in the world. Also, all of the actors are incredible.

Dark but good. The director has done other really good stuff, directorial and script work.

Yes. I thought it was excellent. It's a bit of a slow burn, and the ending was less than satisfying IMO, but it's definitely worth watching. Aden Young and Abigail Spencer are especially good in their roles.
