Is it worth watching the walking dead after season 5?

Seasons 1 through 3 are awesome. After that it goes downhill imo.

I think season 5 is about when I checked out. In my opinion I would cut bait.

I still enjoy it for what it is. It's not like it takes a lot of effort to watch it.

If your time is limited, don't go out of your way. If you don't have much else to watch, sure go ahead but don't expect much. It's a whole lot of filler, some cool stuff every now and then (Negan), and then a bunch of nonsensical monologues and dumb stuff.

The last episode I watched was Glenn on the dumpster. I just stopped caring and even that cliffhanger wasn’t enough to make me watch the next episode.
So sad too because the first two seasons were great!

I stopped watching after Glen died because that pissed me off.
I realized after Glen died that it was going to be a repeat cycle of killing off 2 or 3 of the main cast each season. It also became more about fighting off humans than survival from zombies. Bad writing if you ask me.
The show became stale after season 4.

I still record it on the DVR and will put it on if I want some background noise. I haven't been engaged with the storylines or characters though in a while. Will watch this season though, just bc of the spoilers I've read about it.

i skipped last season...nothing about the saviors war made a lick of sense, hopefully theres a big time jump and they can try this again
