Is Farscape worth watching?

I remember this being on randomly when it first aired but I never watched it.
I enjoy sci if, how is it?

I enjoyed it, if you like scifi then you will probably like it.

It's one of the better sci fi shows ever for me, behind Firefly and on par with Deep Space Nine as my favorites.
Wayne Pygram is fantastic as one of the main baddies Scorpius once he shows up.

They swing for the fences. A lot. So their best episodes are some of the best sci fi out there. Their bad episodes, well they are pretty bad.
It also has a fascinating story arc over the course of the series about how constant stress and danger will change a man and not for the better.
The first few episodes are shaky. It takes them a while to get their feet under them. Once they do get going its a great watch.

They don't make shows like it anymore and 20 years later there is still a cult following. Definitely up there as an all time fav. Even bought the post-show comics.

The first season is very "episode of the week" and they are focused on the broad strokes of introducing their universe... but sticking to "familiar territory" plot-wise and get viewership. Just keep in mind it started with a meager budget - and a chunk of it went to the Henson legacy guys and their creations (worth every penny). I almost stopped watching it after 4 or 5 episodes... SOOOO glad I didn't.
By Season 2 - They got the budget they needed. Visually - the aesthetic becomes more polished. The writing hits its stride... and I was hooked hooked hooked. it is, to this day, one of my Top 5 favorite shows (Top 3 among those that last at least 3 seasons).
I've flown Farscape my fan flag many times on the M/TV board - Even recently.
FWIW - If you stick with it through all 4 seasons - You will be angry (that it was cancelled that soon). Then you be rewarded with a 3+ hour reprise that is also one of the best series finales ever.

IDK but I remember Dreamscape was an awesome movie that was always on HBO when I was like 6 or 7
